Lori Grant
Lori has experience in managing entrepreneurial Internet businesses, since she co-founded Erosion Media with Sarah Warn. They sold their entertainment properties to MTV Networks in May 2006. At the end of November 2006, Lori chose to leave Verus to go back to her company, Erosion Media.
She’s a former VP of Marketing & Sales Operations, who was responsible for marketing and communications, product marketing, channel management and sales operations. Lori’s specialties include: building new startups, departments, and programs; executing aggressive plans to goals; and creating repeatable processes. She has more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
She’s held positions in healthcare technology companies, focusing on revenue cycle management, cardiovascular information systems and benchmarking and outcomes management solutions. She also provided market planning, product marketing, and product management expertise for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, HBS International, Inc., LUMEDX Corporation, CodeCorrect, Inc., and Verus. She’s spent several years working in Indian healthcare in Alaska, and have extensive knowledge of the unique challenges faced by Native Americans.
Lori prides herself in being a constant learner. She hasn’t met a business book she didn’t like. When she’s not reading a business book, she enjoys sharing her career management experience and lessons learned with others. She’s passionate about sharing her lessons learned on career management, having created her Smart Lemming, Thought Leaders Across the Web, and Smart Lemming Business Book Reviews blogs.
Lori has a B.S. from University of Alaska-Southeast and an M.H.A from University of Washington.
